About the Role:
The Preventive Maintenance Planner is responsible for establishing, planning, coordinating, and monitoring the preventive maintenance program for production equipment, utilities, and facility systems across the plant. This role ensures maintenance activities are effectively scheduled and executed to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. As part of a newly established manufacturing facility, the role also supports commissioning, ramp-up activities, maintenance system development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Master Plan for production equipment, utility systems, and facility assets.
Coordinate, monitor, and support daily maintenance activities to ensure completion in line with maintenance schedules and operational requirements.
Create and update PM checklists, maintenance procedures, SOPs, and maintenance standards.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to optimize equipment availability and operational performance.
Ensure spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources are available to support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Monitor equipment performance and maintenance trends to identify opportunities for reliability improvement and downtime reduction.
Support root cause analysis and coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive actions for recurring equipment issues.
Lead and coordinate maintenance improvement initiatives to enhance safety, equipment reliability, and maintenance effectiveness.
Establish and maintain spare parts management systems, including inventory control processes, stock monitoring, and periodic stock verification.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and utilize data analysis tools, including Power BI and Power Apps, to drive maintenance performance improvements.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to align maintenance plans with business and operational priorities.
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, company procedures, and compliance requirements.
Support commissioning, equipment handover, and maintenance readiness activities for new machines and facility systems
What you'll need:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in preventive maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, or equipment reliability within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of TPM, preventive maintenance programs, maintenance planning, and equipment reliability principles.
Experience developing PM schedules, maintenance procedures, and maintenance performance reporting.
Knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to utilize maintenance data to drive improvements.
Experience with Power BI and Power Apps is a strong advantage.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
