About the Role:

The Injection Moulding Operator supports daily production activities by operating injection moulding machines and ensuring adherence to production, quality, and safety requirements.

This role focuses on footwear manufacturing operations and requires hands-on experience working with injection moulding machines. You will play an important role in maintaining stable production output and consistent product quality on the shopfloor.

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate injection moulding machines in accordance with work instructions and production requirements.

• Support machine start-up and shutdown processes when required.

• Monitor machine conditions and report any issues to the Supervisor or Process Engineer.

• Support daily production targets and ensure consistent product quality.

• Perform in-process product quality checks and follow defined quality standards.

• Ensure proper handling of raw materials and production items.

• Maintain cleanliness of machines and working areas.

• Support basic machine troubleshooting under guidance from supervisors or engineering teams.

• Report any production or equipment issues promptly.

• Follow company safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace in line with 5S standards. [

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support smooth operations.

• Support trials, sample runs, and continuous improvement activities when required.
  

What you'll need:

• Vocational school or technical training in mechanical, industrial, or related fields is preferred.

• Hands-on experience operating injection moulding machines in the footwear industry is required.

• Experience in plastics or manufacturing environments is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of machine operation is preferred.

• Willingness to work in shifts and follow production instructions.

• Responsible, reliable, and eager to learn.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
