About the Role:
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all warehouse and logistics operations to ensure the smooth, accurate, and timely movement of raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods. This role plays a key part in supporting a new factory setup, ensuring materials are available for production and customer deliveries are made on time, while building robust processes and controls for long‑term operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management
Manage daily warehouse operations for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, and issuance of materials.
Organise and optimise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation.
Ensure proper handling and storage conditions to protect materials and products.
Inventory Control
Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Ensure all material movements are accurately recorded in the system.
Prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, and discrepancies.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics
Manage inbound material flows to support production requirements.
Coordinate outbound shipments to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Ensure complete and accurate logistics and shipping documentation.
Coordinate with customs authorities and ensure compliance with import/export requirements.
Ensure proper handling of customs documentation and clearance processes.
Production Support
Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
Work closely with Production to avoid material shortages or delays.
Support stable production operations during factory ramp‑up.
Setup & Process Building
Set up warehouse layouts, operating processes, and working procedures.
Establish clear controls for inventory and warehouse operations.
Support ERP and warehouse system setup and usage.
Continuous Improvement
Improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and operational performance.
Reduce logistics costs and improve service levels.
Identify and implement better ways of working.
Team Management
Lead and manage warehouse and logistics teams, including supervisors and frontline staff.
Ensure teams follow defined processes, safety rules, and working standards.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure safe working conditions in the warehouse environment.
Maintain proper storage and handling practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Cross‑functional Coordination
Work closely with Procurement, Production, QA, and Planning teams.
Ensure smooth material flow across all operations.
What you'll need:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong practical experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
8–12 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Experience in factory setup or production ramp‑up is a strong advantage.
Experience managing high‑volume or space‑constrained warehouse operations is an advantage.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
Experience in logistics coordination and shipment management.
Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands‑on approach.
Good problem‑solving and coordination skills.
English proficiency at working level.
