About the Role:

The General Accountant will support daily accounting operations for Vietnam and Korea entities, with primary responsibility for Vietnam. This role ensures accurate recording of accounting transactions, smooth payment processing, and full compliance with company policies and local statutory requirements. You will play an important role in supporting finance operations during the ramp‑up phase of a growing manufacturing site.

Role Responsibilities:

• Execute daily accounting transactions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) with accuracy and completeness.

• Support the setup, standardisation, and documentation of accounting processes and workflows.

• Maintain proper accounting records and internal control structures to ensure data integrity.

• Manage AP and AR processes, ensuring timely invoice processing, payments, and collections.

• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reconciliation and documentation of transactions.

• Prepare and process local and overseas payments, ensuring correct approval workflows and audit‑ready documentation.

• Coordinate with banks and monitor payment status.

• Perform monthly reconciliations including bank, AP/AR, and GL accounts.

• Support the month‑end closing process and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

• Support statutory compliance including VAT, WHT, and CIT reporting in accordance with Vietnam regulations.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and local accounting and tax requirements.

• Maintain accurate accounting data in the ERP system (D365).

• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly during the ramp‑up phase.
  

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of Vietnam tax regulations including VAT, WHT, and CIT.

• Familiarity with AP/AR processes, payment workflows, and financial controls.

• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Experience in manufacturing or foreign‑invested companies is preferred.

• Experience working with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle.

• Strong attention to detail with a hands‑on and execution‑focused mindset.

• Ability to work independently in a lean and fast‑growing organisation.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
