About the Role:

Zotefoams Inc. is seeking an experienced Controller to join our Executive Management team in Walton, Kentucky. Reporting to the President and CFO, this is a key leadership role with responsibility for all financial activities across the business, including treasury and accounting.

The Controller will play a vital part in shaping financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a high-performing accounting team. The role will also be responsible for internal controls, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder engagement, helping to drive our continued success in North America.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities in line with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and pro forma accounts to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including monitoring of monthly performance and quarterly updates.
• Develop, implement and maintain effective internal control systems to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
• Oversee trading-related activities such as customs bonds and regulatory documentation.
• Lead and manage a high-performing finance team, supporting professional development and accountability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and federal authorities, the Chamber of Commerce and other relevant bodies.
• Provide internal training on financial systems and procedures as required.
• Support wider business projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing.
• Strong financial planning and analysis skills with a sound understanding of internal controls and compliance.
• Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and financial documents to a professional standard.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel); experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a real plus.
• Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 15%) and to work on-site full time.
• Must be able to obtain a passport for international travel.
