About the Role:

We are seeking an Apprentice Mechatronics Maintenance Technician to join our team in Croydon. This is a hands-on role focused on developing your competence through structured learning and practical experience, aiming to become a fully qualified Mechatronics Maintenance Technician. You will work closely with experienced engineers and maintenance teams across the business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work towards achieving ST1326, Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3
• Assist in regular plant inspections, help identify and address deficiencies
• Support safe working practices and ensure the plant is left in a safe condition
• Participate fully in training to gain skills required for electrical maintenance
• Learn and use specialist tools and procedures for varied maintenance tasks
• Complete college assignments and any required learning evidence
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime
• Develop understanding of the production process and H&S requirements
• Follow established company policies and procedures
• Build strong communication links within the team and wider business

What you'll need:

• GCSE Grade C or above in Maths, English, Science and Technology
• A genuine interest in mechanical and electrical systems
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
